Galliford Try for Yorkshire Water, Keighley
Transhaven Construction Services Ltd has been working under a framework for Galliford Try at Yorkshire Water’s Keighley Water Treatment Plant from October 2024 through to December 2025. The value of the works exceeds £1.6 million.
Transhaven was responsible for delivering all civil engineering works for the new water treatment plant installation. This included multiple reinforced concrete bases, specialist concrete chambers, new drainage systems, ducting, and draw pits across the site, as well as high voltage infrastructure, including new transformer bases and HV feeds.
The project involved highly technical concrete works, including shuttered reinforced concrete shafts, weir walls, chemical dosing bases, and valve slabs. These elements were delivered within a live operational environment, requiring strict safety, quality and programme control.
This project demonstrates Transhaven’s ability to deliver complex civils and concrete packages for major UK water infrastructure schemes.
